Keith R. Kraft, 72, of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late George V. and Nellie (Wilson) Kraft.

Keith graduated from Thomas Indian School on the Cattaraugus Indian Reserve. Keith worked as a cabinet maker, as well as the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Lackawanna, NY, and Martin Fire Proofing until the time of his retirement. Following his retirement Keith started his own home repair business and also worked at Randy's Smoke Shop. Keith's favorite pastimes included playing Bingo, stock car racing and traveling. He was also a sports enthusiast who loved golfing, lacrosse and the Buffalo Bandits, as well as spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.

Keith is survived by his wife of forty four years Cindy L. (Jacobs) Kraft, six children, Teri Lynn of Cleveland, OH; Kandi (Randy) Chrysler, Kari Napoleon, Kimberly (Mark) Stewardson, Kyra Kraft and Kelsey Jim all of the Tuscarora Nation; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, eight siblings, Carmen (late Don) Hoxworth of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, Sandy (Maggie) Pembleton of Florida, Ronald (Linda) Kraft of Pendleton, NY; Freda (Carl) Morris of Ohio, George Kraft, Jr., Ernie (Cheryl) Kraft both of Niagara Falls, NY; Mary Lynn Maci of Ottawa, Ontario and Herb (Cindy) Kraft of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Keith was also predeceased by three grandchildren, four brothers and one sister Walter (Cathy) Kraft, Maurice (Carol) Kraft, Arnie Kraft, Wilma McCarthy and Ralph "Tone" Pembleton.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday April 21st at 12 noon at the Tuscarora Indian Mission, Walmore Road Tuscarora Reservation. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.
