Kenneth F. Johnson, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Margaret O'Brien.

Kenneth was raised in Niagara Falls where he attended local schools.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1949 until his honorable discharge in 1952, retiring as a Drill Sergent.  On July 3, 1954 he married Marie F. (Candella) Johnson. Mrs. Johnson predeceased him on April 23, 2009. Kenneth worked at Hooker Chemical Corporation, later known as Occidental Chemical, as a Chemical Operator for 32 years, retiring in the late 1990's.  He worked for the Town of Niagara Recreation Center serving lunches to seniors.  Kenneth enjoyed deer hunting, going to the casino and traveling to Las Vegas. He was a Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Mark J. (Sharon) Johnson and Judith C. Johnson, his brother and sister-in-law, Santo and Adeline Candella, and his godson, Kenny Candella, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Bud, Robert and Charles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15 from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, 14304, where funeral services will begin on Friday at 9:15 AM, followed by Kenneth's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
