Kevin L. Green, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 9, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.  Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Elbert Green and Vivian (Hampton) Ellis, and was raised by his aunt and uncle, the late Marceline and Lucius Hampton.

Kevin came to the area as a child, and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  He studied General Studies at Illinois State University in Normal, IL, before earning a certificate in Television Production from the New School in New York, New York.  In 1989, he married Kathleen (Paul) Green in New York, NY, and returned to Niagara Falls shortly thereafter.  He was self-employed for nearly 40 years at his media company, KG Media, producing and hosting shows on LCTV including Government and Media News.  He was also an accomplished writer, and publisher, with numerous poems, articles and pamphlets credited to him.

Kevin loved fast cars, and especially cherished his Camaro which he affectionately named "The Dragon". He was also a very creative craftsman and woodworker, and made custom chess boards and pieces made of various materials.  Kevin enjoyed decorating for the holidays – especially Halloween – and was very proud of his music synchronized LED light displays.  A self-taught coder, he enjoyed building websites from scratch.   Kevin also was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears.  He enjoyed playing guitar, and loved Rock and Roll and Blues Music, especially Jimi Hendrix, and was very proud of the fact that he saw him live at Woodstock in 1969.

Kevin was unapologetically himself and always comfortable in his own skin, never worried about the opinions of others.  He was extremely strong willed and hard working, yet also a notorious prankster with a tremendous sense of humor    Above all, Kevin will be remembered as a loyal man who loved his family more than anything, fiercely serving as their protector.

In addition to his wife of 36 years, Kevin is survived by his son, Kristian L. 'Kris' Green; his grandchildren, Genesis M. Green and Kristian J. Green, Jr.; his brother, Andre (Nicole) Morgan; his nephews, Sergio Morgan and Mario Morgan, and dear cousins, Juanita (James 'Jim') Bradberry and Carolyn Chinagoro.  In addition to his parents and aunt and uncle who raised him, he was predeceased by his his maternal grandmother, Olivette Robinson, with whom he shared a special bond.
