Khurshid Bibi, 74, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, she was the daughter of the late Roada Masih and Mehran Bibi.

Guddi, as she was known to her family and friends, was raised in Pakistan where she attended school and was employed as a beautician. She was the loving wife of the late Sardar Masih, who she married on April 20, 1962.

Khurshid moved to Niagara Falls with her husband over 25 years ago to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She had an unforgettable, vibrant personality with a warm heart, and she was extremely hospitable to everyone. She was the Matriarch of her family, as well as a great singer, prayer warrior and strong worshiper of her faith. She will be deeply missed by her beloved family and friends.

Guddi is survived by her children, Gulshan Akhter, Munawar John and Naeema Baksh; her grandchildren, Alicia, Ashlee, Alexander and Anthoney Akhter, and Amoreen, Loreen and Jacob Baksh, Jr.; one great-grandson, Isaac Akhter, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one brother and one sister.

Due to recent circumstances, funeral services will be private for Khurshid's family with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Arrangements by M.J.
