Kristina (Gailie) Bordeleau, 40, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Newfane, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Jim Gailie and Denise West.

Kristina was a graduate of Lockport High School and obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Potsdam State College in Music. She went on to attend the University at Buffalo and received her Master's Degree in Education. On May 20, 2006, she married her beloved husband, James Bordeleau at St. Mary's of the Cataract Church.

Kristina was a gifted musician and trumpet player for the Ladies First Big Band in Buffalo. She passed on her musical talents to numerous students at Gaskill Preparatory School, where she served as the band teacher for many years.

In addition to her husband of 13 years, and her parents, she is survived by her loving daughters, Julia and Ava Bordeleau; and one brother, Eric (Jamie) Gailie. She is also the daughter-in-law of Lee Bordeleau and Joanne Shoemaker; and sister-in-law of Sherrin (Ralph) Barone and Christopher (Beth) Bordeleau.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 8th from 4 – 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Kristina's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 10:00 A.M. in Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303.
