Laura (LaClair) DiBacco, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Highlands at Brighton Nursing Home in Rochester, NY after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in St. Johnsbury, VT she was the daughter of the late Albert and Clara (Duclos) LaClair.


Laura was educated in Vermont and later attended Kelly Business Institute in Niagara Falls, NY. On June 16, 1951 she married Edmond P. DiBacco at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. DiBacco predeceased her on March 21, 2009. Laura worked at Hooker Chemical as secretary to the company president. She retired from the Accounts Payable Department at Carborundum. Laura was well known in the family for her delicious Thanksgiving rolls, her magic cookie bars and her fudge. Her family will also never forget what wonderful care she took to make her house and yard beautiful.


Laura is survived by her children Debbie (Roger Beam) DiBacco of Albion, NY and David (Maryellen) DiBacco of The Woodlands, TX; three grandchildren Daniel Edmond Beam, Meghan and Kathleen DiBacco; four siblings Leon LaClair, Pat Mazur, Charlotte Bradburn, Raymond LaClair as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Odile, Cecil, Adella, Albert, Lorana and Gene. Laura also had a wonderful friend in neighbor, Frank Perno of Niagara Falls


Visitation will be on Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Saturday November 29th at 10 a.m. with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the AD-Care program at the Monroe Community Hospital 435 East Henrietta Rd, Rochester NY 14620.
