Laura A. Giammarco, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital.  Born in Introdacqua, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Bambina (D'Angelis) Mascio.

Laura was raised in Italy, where she attended local schools.  She immigrated to the United States at a young age and was employed as a doughnut baker at DiCamillo Bakery in Niagara Falls during the 1940's and 1950's.  On September 15, 1956, she married Orlando "Berardino" Giammarco at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls.  Mr. Giammarco predeceased her on October 23, 1967.  Laura was affiliated with the John Duke Center.  In her spare time, she enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening.

Laura is survived by her children, Elmo Giammarco and Teresa Giammarco; her brother, Luigi (late Cecelia) Mascio; her nieces, Lucy Centofanti, and Giannina (Vince) Tronsio, as well as several nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister Giovanna (late Virginio) Centofanti;  niece, Mary (Benny of Toronto) Iacampo; and sister-in-law, Bellinda (late Emilio) Colangelo.

There will be no prior visitation.  Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
