Laura M. Imerese, 60, of Lewiston, NY, passed away unexpectedly at Buffalo General Hospital on June 7 ^th , 2018 surrounded by her family.  Born in Lewiston, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Elizabeth (Hatfield) Paterson.

Laura was raised in Lewiston and graduated from Lew-Port.  On December 30 ^th , 1983, she married Gerald C. Imerese in Niagara Falls, NY.  Laura was employed as a business manager at DeSales Resources in Youngstown, NY for the past 9 years. Laura liked antiquing, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 34 years, Laura is survived by her children, Eric Imerese, Kevin Imerese, and Ashley (Michael N.F.P.D) Maio, her grandchildren, Abigail Schuster and Jaxon Tessier, her sisters, Janice Paterson, Pamela (Christopher) Myers and Joan (William) Hampton, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Barbara (John) McCoy.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff in ICU at Buffalo General Hospital for their care.
