Lauren (Colosi) Croley, 64, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Thursday September 5, 2013 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of Jenny (Valentino) and John Scavulli and the late Laurence Colosi.
Lauren was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1967. On May 5, 1990 she married Michael Croley in Niagara Falls, NY. She was employed as a receptionist by the Department of Motor Vehicles and as an ER operator at N.F. Memorial Medical Center both in Niagara Falls, NY. She also bartended at various local bars. Lauren was an avid customer of the QVC shopping network and also enjoyed going to the Casino. Above all, her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Angeline.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter Tina (Pennington) (fiancé Dennis Hastee) Trott of Ransomville, NY; two grandchildren Angeline Trott and Ian Hastee; four sisters, Judi Colosi of Niagara Falls, NY; Ann Marie Race, Janine (Douglas) Lannak both of Rochester and Teresa (Eugene) Scavulli-Racanelli of Virginia, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 – 3 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Robert Hughson officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
