Laurie E. McGuirk, 68, of Tampa, FL, passed away at her residence on January 1, 2021.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Julio M. and Norma M. (Albertini) Calvano.

Laurie graduated from Madonna High School and later from Trocaire College for Nursing, earning her R.N. accreditation.  She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  She later moved to Michigan and Florida, where she worked as a tax preparer, operated a housecleaning business, and worked as a retail manager at Christopher Banks.

Laurie is survived by her brother, Christopher A. (Pamela) Calvano, her niece, Angela Calvano, her first cousin, Philip (Cheryl) Valore, her second cousin, Philip Valore, as well as several other cousins.  She was predeceased by her husband, Michael McGuirk.
