Lawrence A. 'Larry' Carella, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on September 21, 2019.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Angelo and Anna (Ventry) Carella.

Larry was raised in Niagara Falls, graduating from Niagara Falls High School and attended Niagara University.  On April 15, 1961 he married Anne Marie (Scimemi) Carella at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls.  Lawrence was employed in Construction Management for Cannon Design in Grand Island, NY until his retirement in 2007.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #247 and various construction trade organizations in the area.  Larry was an avid Yankees, Bills, and Duke Blue Devils Fan, enjoyed cards with friends, and listening to jazz music. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family.

In addition to his wife of 58 years, Lawrence is survived by his children, Richard A. Carella, Gerard F. (Christina Pierangelino) Carella, and Lawrence M. (Debbie) Carella; his grandchildren, Courtney (Alex Weremblewski), Thomas, and Benjamin (Becca Warner); his siblings, Lucille (late Angelo) Gasparro and John (Barbara) Carella, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Carella.

There will be no prior visitation.  Lawrence's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at 12 PM at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Everyone please assemble at church.  Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings in Lawrence's memory may be made to Heart, Love and Soul Food Pantry, 939 Ontario Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14305   Arrangements by M.J.
