Leatrice C. (Cirrito) Anastasi, 79 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday December 31, 2008 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Rose (Cicero) Cirrito.

Leatrice was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. On July 23, 1966 she married Joseph J. Anastasi in Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Niagara Falls. For thirty nine years, Leatrice worked at the former Nabisco Shredded Wheat Company in Niagara Falls until her retirement in 1984. Leatrice enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of forty two years, she is survived by three children; Joseph A. (Linda) Anastasi of Columbus, OH, Richard (Carole) Anastasi of Kirkland, WA, Patricia (late Mark) Blair of Binghamton, NY, six grandchildren; Sarah Anastasi, Christina Anastasi, Mary Lucy Anastasi, Richard Anastasi, Joseph Anastasi and Olivia Anastasi, three sisters; Antoinette (Nick) Cacchio, Josephine Cirrito and Marie (late Donald) Russell all of Niagara Falls, NY, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her earlier husband Francis 'Frank' Forte.

Friends may call on Sunday from 3-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday January 5th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094 or a charity of ones choice.
