Leila C. Hutchins passed away on January 23, 2022, her mother's birthday, with her family by her side.  Born on July 27, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Parel and Helen (Palmer) Hutchins.

Leila was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who went above and beyond for her family and that was a central part of her life.  She took great pride in being a part of everyone's life and helping them on their paths.  She was a kind and gentle soul whose presence was a lot like her favorite color yellow.  She brought joy to all that knew her.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and hosting large family gatherings where she would participate in lively conversations while listening to the children play.

Leila was an artist and employed by the Niagara Gazette in sales for many years.  She also owned her own advertising agency Leila Hutchins Advertising Agency in Niagara Falls and Buffalo in the 1990's.  She was a member of Zonta Club, and the American Women Business Association in which she received a Women of The Year award in 1991.  Her laugh and smile will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Zomont and Jennifer (Chris) Melson; seven grandchildren, Alexandria Lewis, Kaitlin (Vincent) Hall, Justin (Tori) Burnham, Gabrielle Lewis, Victoria Tirado, Aaron (Emily) Tirado and Jordyn Melson; nine great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Autumn Lewis, Milly Hall, Gavin Aceti, Talon Burnham, Tallas and Milo Marvel, Noah and Aaron Tirado, Jr; her sister Betty (Gary) Trotta, and nephew Nathanial Trotta.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5 from 2 - 4 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 4 PM.   All are invited to attend in the remembrance of her.  The family respectfully requests that everyone attending please wear a mask.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
