Leonard Buscemi, 76, of Miami, Florida, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Bruccoleri) Buscemi.

Leonard attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On January 8, 1964 he married Virginia (Delacerda) Buscemi in Union City, New Jersey. Following their marriage, they moved to Miami, Florida where they have resided until the present time. Leonard was employed as a furniture salesman at the Miracle Mile in Florida until his retirement. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, Mr. Buscemi is survived by his two children, Joseph (Odalys) Buscemi and Charles (Jose Martinez) Buscemi both of Miami, Fl.; two grandchildren, Gabriella Buscemi and Isabella Buscemi; two siblings, Marilyn (late Gino) Battista of St. Catharines, Ontario and Joseph (Karen) Buscemi; one sister-in-law, Nelsy Delacerda of Cuba. He is also survived by three nephews, one niece, as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Leonard was predeceased by two nephews, David Andrews and John Andrews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to be celebrated on Saturday, January 3rd at 12:00 Noon in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
