Leone "Leo" Faiola, 90, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at his residence. Born in Sperlonga, Italy, he was the son of the Vincenzo and Leontina Faiola.

Leo was educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1955. On September 21, 1957, he married his beloved wife, Ida (Scarpelli) Faiola at St. Joseph Church. He was employed at General Abrasives for many years prior to his retirement in 1994.

Mr. Faiola was hardworking and devoted to his family. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 62 years, he is survived by his daughter, Rose (Doug) Kozar and was predeceased by his son, Vincent J. Faiola. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matthew, Mark and John Kozar; his siblings, Vittorio (Lucia), Rocco and Teresa; his sister-in-law, Irene (late Rudolph) Scarpelli, as well as his nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Faiola was also predeceased by two siblings, Antonio and Celestina.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 3 from 4 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:15 A.M. followed by Leo's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
