Lewis P. Laurie, 65 of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2017.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Lewis I. and Dorothy (Prue) Laurie.

Lewis was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area.  He attended local schools, graduating from Bishop Duffy High School and later attended Niagara County Community College.  He served in the United Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  Lewis was employed as a driver for Metalico Inc. in Buffalo, NY.  He was an avid outdoorsman and passionate hunter.

In addition to his parents, Lewis is survived by his wife of 14 years, Dianne M. (Craft) Laurie, his children, Lewis J. (Chelsea Tierney) Laurie and Sarah Laurie, step-children, Chad Craft, Ammoreena Rose, Curtis (Aubrey) Rose and Otis (Kerry) Rose, eleven grandchildren, two sisters, Susan (Barry) Deal and Bonnie (Joe) Krupper, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 22 ^nd from 6 - 8 P.M. at the M.J.
