Liborio 'Leo' Tallarico, 83, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday August 1, 2021 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY.  Born in Settingiano, Calabria, Italy he was the son of the late Francesco and Marianna (Pucci) Tallarico.

He married his wife Rosina (Rotella) Tallarico on June 13, 1962 in Italy and they came to Niagara Falls, NY shortly after their marriage.  His beloved wife Rosina passed away on November 27, 1994.  Liborio was employed as a laborer for the Laborers Local #91 in Niagara Falls, NY for over 35 years.  He was a lifelong member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society and was a Bocce Champ numerous times on different teams in the Hyde Park Leagues. Liborio was a master gardener and winemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.

Liborio is survived by his children, Mariannina Tallarico, Franco (Elaine) Tallarico and Dominick (Margo) Tallarico and predeceased by his daughter Antonella Tallarico; his four grandchildren, Franco (Jamiee) Tallarico, Ashley Tallarico, Dominick James Tallarico and Marina Tallarico and his great-granddaughter, Isabella Tallarico as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by six sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 5 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Friday at 10:15 AM, followed by Liborio's Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.  Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
