Lillian M. Passanese, 67, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28th at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the loving daughter of the late Edward and Lillian (Summers) Stanwich; and the beloved wife of the late Dr. Salvatore Passanese, who passed away on August 23, 2016.

Lillian attended Niagara Falls High School and obtained her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Library Science from the University at Buffalo.  She was employed by the Niagara County Community College for 34 years as Head of the Faculty Resource Center. She attained the rank of professor and won the Chancellors Award in 2004.  Lillian retired in 2014. In her leisure time she enjoyed cooking, tending to her garden and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Passanese is survived by her brother, Dr. Eugene (Nancy) Stanwich; her brother-in-law, Larry (Kathy) Passanese and her sister-in-law, Antoinette Passanese. She is also survived by her nephews, Nick and Noah Passanese, Brett (Emelyn) and Jack Stanwich, her Niece Jill (Bill) Siradas and her great niece Lily Siradas.
