Linda L. (Freeland) Giardino, 68, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Lewiston, NY passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 20th at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Edward and Norma (Klipfel) Freeland.

Linda was a longtime resident of Lewiston, NY until relocating to Scottsdale, AZ where she currently resided. She graduated from Lewiston Porter High School and later earned an Associate's Degree from Bryant and Stratton College in Buffalo, NY. On January 31, 1986 she married James J. Giardino in Lewiston, NY. Linda was employed as an executive secretary by the New York Power Authority in Lewiston, NY and retired in 2004 after more than twenty years of service. Linda's greatest pleasures were cooking, beading, traveling, and being with family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by one daughter Kelli Russell (Ken Pope) of the Town of Niagara, NY; three grandchildren Guyson 'Jim' Beaton, Andrew Russell and Lauren Russell; three siblings Kathleen (late Dr. F. Craig) Fisher of Chicago, IL, Keith (Christine) Freeland of Lewiston, NY and Jane (Greg) DiPietro of League City, TX as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29th at 10 a.m. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
