Linda L. Granto, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 27, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vernon L. and Ruth E. (McCoy) Hoffman.

Linda was a 1971 graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  On December 2, 1972, she married Peter A. Granto, Sr. in Niagara Falls, NY.  Mr. Granto predeceased her on October 13, 2004.  Linda was employed over 25 years with the Niagara Falls Board of Education as a Classroom Associate and Senior School Monitor, retiring from Niagara Street School in 2018.  Linda enjoyed crocheting.   She was extremely strong willed, spoke her mind, and was loving and compassionate – always putting others first.  Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she fought her illness for over the past 2 1/2 years.

Linda is survived by her children, Christie M. Granto (fiancée Lovell King) and Peter A. Granto, Jr. (Jonni Klejdys); her grandchildren, Breonna Granto, Peter Granto III, and Milania King; her great-granddaughter, Ava Hunt; her brother, Gary (Nikki) Hoffman, her dear friend of 43 years, Loretta (Robert) Fisch, her dear friend, Patty (James) Page, her goddaughter, Jackie (Jason) Burns, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 30 years, she was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter, Gabrielle K. Granto Gibson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Private interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
