Linda L. Marillo, 74, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on passed away on July 12 ^th , 2022 at her residence under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born November 10 ^th , 1947 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late William 'Bill' and Alice (Grubb) Vogler.

Linda worked for over 30 years at Frontier Science Research Foundation in Amherst, NY, where she was the chief data manager for several years, among other roles. She had the opportunity in the latter years of her work to travel to many places around the world, among them: Thailand, Greece, South Africa, India, and a botched attempt to Malawi where she got stuck in Ethiopia on the way and ended up with a bug from drinking water in the airport.  In 2009, she married James 'Jim' C. Marillo, and they spent the best years of her life together, and she was at her happiest for last 15 years.

In addition to her husband, Jim Marillo, she is survived by her two sons David Faso and Peter Faso; her grandchildren, Ren and Yuzuki Faso; her brothers, Rex Vogler, Charles (Tara) Vogler, Kurt Vogler, and Tom Vogler, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her former spouse and father of her children, Charles Faso, her second husband, Tom Draper, and her brother, Bruce Vogler.
