Linda M. (Mitravich) Swope, 66 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday November 23, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Walerowicz) Mitravich, Sr.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. In 1968 she married Gordon L. Swope, Sr. at St. George's Church in Niagara Falls. Linda was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. In her leisure, time she also enjoyed crossword puzzles.

In addition to her beloved husband, Linda is also survived by four children, Gordon Swope, Jr. of North Carolina, Heidi Jo Joyce, John Swope and Adam Swope all of Niagara Falls, NY, four grandchildren, Michael Joyce, Jr., Faith Joyce, Ryan Joyce and Brandon Joyce, three great-grandchildren, Sakura, Samantha and Emily, five siblings, Peter Mitravich, Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY, Carol (John) Johnson of North Carolina, Dorothy (Andy) West, Robert (Kim) Mitravich, Sr. and Ronald Mitravich all of Niagara Falls, NY as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one sister Jean Brott.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 26th from 4-6 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NAIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
