Obituary

Lisa Ann (Borczynski) Evrard, 42, of Wheatfield, NY passed away on Tuesday July 27, 2010 at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of Ronald and Margaret "Peggy" (Riggi) Borczynski of Wheatfield, NY.

Lisa was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. She worked as a manager at Wilson Farms in Wheatfield, NY and currently was employed as a bookkeeper at Ken Ton Fabricators in Buffalo, NY. Lisa was an avid walker and in her leisure time she enjoyed reading, going to the casino and movies. She also had a passion for animals, and especially loved her cat, Feebe.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by two children, Matthew R. Evrard and Miranda L. Galligan both of Wheatfield, NY; one brother Leon (Sandy) Borczynski of Wheatfield, NY, one nephew Leon Borczynski Jr., her aunts and uncles, Rose and Armand Valeri, Ann and Marvin Teitelbaum, Carol and Joe Pedini, Norma and Frank Bellezza, Cynthia Fries, Eleana and Richard Vorwerk, John and Linda Borczynski, James and Susan Borczynski, Wayne and Ursula Borczynski, as well as many cousins. She was also predeceased by her maternal grandparents Michael and Margaret Riggi, her paternal grandparents Leon and Helen Borczynski, one niece Sara Borczynski and one uncle Frederick Borczynski.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday July 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst, NY 14228 or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094.
