Llewellyn F. (Davis) Sasyn , 76, of Niagara Falls, NY , passed away on May 8, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 13, 1942 in Hamilton, Ontario.  On June 13, 1964, she married John J. Sasyn at Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Niagara Falls.  Mr. Sasyn predeceased her on October 13, 2017.

Llewellyn attended local schools, was a proud member of the Iroquois Six Nations.  She began her career at the Vincentian Residence as a clerical worker and worked her way up to the executive secretary to the president of Niagara University, where she worked until her retirement in 1993.  She was a member of the Elders Group at John Duke Senior Center where she assisted many people with their taxes for several years. Llewellyn enjoyed doing native beadwork and cooking for her family.

Llewellyn is survived by her children, Carl C. (Raquel) Sasyn and Amy K. (Jermaine Blackman Sr.) Sasyn, five cherished grandchildren, Clara and Franklin Sasyn, Jalen Garrison, Zahra Sasyn and Jermaine Blackman Jr, two great-grandchildren, Julieanna Garrison and Paris Coleman her sister and brothers,  Dawn Doyle, George, Charles and Barry Maracle, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by one sister, Valerie Lotimer.

Visitation will be on Saturday May 12 ^th from 3-6 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday May 14 ^th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
