Lois J. Leo (Twombly), age 78, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2019 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY surrounded by her family.

Lois was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she attended local schools.  In the early 1960's, she came to Niagara Falls.  She was employed for over 30 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, working at the former DeVeaux Manor and the HART Program.  She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels for Niagara Wheatfield Towers. Lois was an avid bowler, and most recently bowled in C.J.'s Midnight Auto League.  In addition, she loved playing Scrabble, Bingo, and crocheting for her grandchildren.  Above all, she found her greatest joy in life when she was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lois is survived by her children, Charles (Heather) Leo, Michael Leo (Heidi Wistner), Angelo Leo (Mindy Bennett), Roseanne (Terence) Ruh, Josephine Leo (Billy Kowalczyk), and Mary (David) Duck; her grandchildren, Tony, Cory, Charles Jr. and Caleb Leo, Angelo Leo, Jr., Travis Bennett, Mindy Aul, Kelsey and Alyssa Lynch, Robert Leo (Jesse), Anthony Anderson (Hannah), and Cierra Duck, and her great-grandchildren, Travis, Jr., Jacob, Amari, Amira, Adrian, and Leland.  She was predeceased by her parents and her aunt.

Lois graciously donated her body to the University at Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, August 18 ^th from 1 – 4 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where a Memorial Service will begin at 4 PM with Pastor Matthew Kofahl officiating.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute PO Box 631 Buffalo, NY 14240.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
