Lois F. Luciano, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday May 31, 2015 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Kimball, WV she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Etta (Frost) Arnold. Lois attended local schools in Kimball, and moved to the Niagara Falls area with her family in 1951.

Lois worked as a lunch aide at various schools in the Niagara Falls School District for over 28 years, retiring in 2014, and having worked the last nine years at Henry J. Kalfas School. Lois was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed gardening. She also played in the band, "Country Ribbons", at various clubs and restaurants throughout the Niagara Falls area. Most importantly, Lois was dedicated to the care of her family and known for keeping a meticulous home.

Lois is survived by her children, Sharon Shakarjian, Linda Cantera of Niagara Falls, NY, Larry (Donna) Gilbert of Royalton, NY, Donna (Serge) Perrier of Town of Niagara, NY, Ronald Gilbert, Ken Gilbert, and Lisa Rowland all of Niagara Falls, NY; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; her siblings Shirley Jean (Richard) Cook, Barbara Ann (Leland) Gardiner, Deborah (Alan) Sahr, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by husbands, Logan Gilbert, Jr. and Nicholas Luciano; her daughter Carole (Vincent of Niagara Falls, NY) D'Anna; her son Billy R. Gilbert; grandson, Michael Berds; siblings Dewey Reed Arnold, Jr., Lila Mae (late Mickey Driver) (late Bill Jancha), Carolyn Elizabeth Arnold, Helen Bernice (late Ronald) Westley, and Rita (late Kermit) Frost Newman.

Visitation Tuesday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 3rd at 10:00 AM. Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
