Loraine Marie Albert, age 78, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on February 10, 2020 at Newfane Rehabilitation Center. Born in St. Agatha, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Eva Albert. She was predeceased by one sister, Geraldine Rossi formerly of California and one brother, Joseph A. Albert formerly of Tennessee.  Surviving are two sisters, Marie A. Meaney of West Seneca, New York and Simone P. Schultz of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and one brother, Dr. Sylvio H. Albert of Oswego, New York, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Loraine graduated from Madonna High School in 1961 and attended the Buffalo Vocational Center to be trained in health services. Subsequently she was employed by DeVeaux Manor and St. Mary's Hospital as a nurses aide until her retirement. Following her retirement, Loraine spent part of her time as a volunteer at Memorial Hospital. She also loved visiting family and friends. Everyone loved her and will always remember her endearing smile.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 12 from 3 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where  funeral services will begin on Thursday at 9:15 A.M., followed by Loraine's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 4 ^th Street Niagara Falls, NY.
