Loretta A. Abbo, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 27, 2026, at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Agostino and Mary (Scappucci) Tolli, and the wife of the late Joseph J. Abbo, who predeceased her on April 24, 1998.

Loretta was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and a longtime parishioner of Prince of Peace Church. She enjoyed ceramics and cooking, and above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her son, Joseph A. Abbo; her grandchildren, Alexandrea (John) Jaruszawicus, Johnna Abbo, Dante Abbo, and Marco Abbo; her great‑grandchildren, Anthony, Isabella, Emilia, and Abigail; her sister, Phyllis (late Joe) Marra; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Loretta was predeceased by her son, John M. Abbo, and her siblings, Viola Tolli and Harry (late Millie) Tolli.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31 from 5 – 8 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Loretta’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1 at 10 AM in Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY; everyone please assemble at church.
