Loretta (Young) Latchford, 78, of Lewiston, NY passed away suddenly, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Herschell and Dorothy (Webber) Young. Her husband Ronald W. Latchford predeceased her in 1997.

Loretta lived in the area most of her life and attended local schools. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and bowled in various local leagues. Loretta also enjoyed going on boat rides with her daughter. Following the passing of her husband, Loretta lived for a period of time in LaBelle, Florida. Most of all, Loretta enjoyed spending time with her family.

Loretta is survived by her three children, Mark Latchford of Lewiston, Steven (Tina Shamot) Latchford of Niagara Falls, NY and Lorie (Richard) Jankowski of Clifton, Virgina. Loving grandmother of Christopher and Alysia Latchford, Katie Krespman, Brooke Latchford, Mathew and Nathan Jankowski. She is also survived by a brother, David Young of Lewiston, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday from 3 - 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Tuesday, January 20th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery , Lewiston, NY.
