IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lorraine
Bellegia
October 24, 2024
Lorraine Bellegia, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY and formerly of Long Beach, CA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Louise (Cacciatore) Bellegia.
Lorraine received her Nursing degree from the former Trott Vocational High School. She moved to California where she served as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the G.I. Lab of Long Beach Memorial Hospital for several years. She later worked as a Nurse Case Manager for Worker's Comp with several different Insurance Companies until her retirement.
Following her retirement, she returned to Niagara Falls to reconnect with her extended family and friends. She enjoyed attending live concerts and festivals throughout the area including ArtPark and the Wagon Wheel. Lorraine also loved riding her e-bike, dancing, and traveling. Above all, she cherished the many memories made with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a jovial spit-fire with a slick mouth who had a heart of gold and an unforgettable smile. Lorraine loved to cook & bake so much that she would bake cakes & cupcakes for almost every occasion and every weekend. Two of her favorite places nearby were the Sunflowers of Sandborn and the Fatima Shrine.
Lorraine is survived by her three children, Rachel (Pabel) Garoutte, Michelle (Ayoub) Mossadaq and Brian (Stephanie) Perkins; six grandchildren; her dog, Franny and cat, Cali, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
