Louis M. Badiali, 84, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Friday January 23, 2009 in Glendale, Arizona where he had resided for the past two years. Born in Barnesboro, PA he was the son of the late Edward and Victoria (Magno) Badiali.

Louis worked for Laborers Local 91 in Niagara Falls, NY for over thirty years and was a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America Cataract Lodge, also in Niagara Falls, NY. During World War II he served in the United States Army. On November 22, 1950 he married the former Ann E. Bruno in Niagara Falls, NY. Mrs. Badiali predeceased him on August 7, 2005.

Mr. Badiali is survived by his daughter Diane Domanico of Glendale, AZ; three grandchildren Cara Cantrell, Michael Domanico, Bryan Domanico; five great-grandchildren Vincent Domanico, Kayla Domanico, Caden Cantrell, Ethan Cantrell, Cooper Domanico; three sisters Rose (Clark) Lantz of Niagara Falls, NY, Vera (Norman) Garrow of Texas, Pauline (Raymond) Dematta of California; two brothers Robert Badiali of Niagara Falls, NY, Edward (Cecilia) Badiali of Lewiston, NY and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday January 30th from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY at which time prayers will be offered. The committal service, conducted by Rev. Stewart Lindsay OSFS, will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, 3806 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY.
