Louis J. Marcolini, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 21st, 2019 at Schoellkopf Health Center in Niagara Falls, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Enrico and Teresa (Tobia) Marcolini, Sr.

Louis was raised in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. Louis served in the United States Army from June 1945 until his honorable discharge in December 1946.  On October 18th, 1952, he married his beloved wife, Marie (DelRe) Marcolini at St. Joseph Church.  Mrs. Marcolini recently predeceased him on January 12th, 2019. Louis was employed as a forklift and materials operator with Kimberly-Clark Corporation, and later as a laborer with Laborers' Local 91, both in Niagara Falls. Louis was an avid golfer and played until he was 80 years old.  In addition, he enjoyed watching baseball and basketball and playing cards.

Louis was the beloved father to Anita (Joseph) Gugino, who survives him, and Michael Marcolini, who predeceased him. He was the beloved grandfather to Nicolina Gugino, Teressa (Max) Klein and Joseph Michael Gugino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife and son, Louis was predeceased by his two brothers, Paul J. (late Eleanor) Marcolini and Enrico J. (Ida) Marcolini.  Louis will be dearly missed by his family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28th from 5 – 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, 14304, where closing prayers will commence at 8 P.M.  A committal service will be celebrated on Friday, March 29th at 11:00 A.M. in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 500 Riverdale Avenue, Lewiston, NY, with entombment to follow.
