Louis Maselli, 83, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John and Pasqualina (Ravarinni) Maselli; and beloved husband of the late Joann Maselli.

Louis attended local schools and served in the United States Air Force from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1957. Mr. Maselli was employed as a mill operator at Great Lakes Carbon for over 35 years prior to retiring in 1998.

Louis was a longtime member of the Niagara Active Hose Fire Company and the Niagara Active Hose Exempts. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed to hunt and fish. Above all, he loved being with his family and friends.

Louis is survived by his stepdaughter, Patricia (Charles) Stafford; brother, Benjamin (late Carmella) Maselli, his godchildren, Nicole Stafford, Julia Moretti and Thomas Maselli; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Mary Maselli, Agnes Maselli, Joseph Maselli; his stepmother, Gina (Masocco) Maselli; and one aunt, Tina Holloway.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 25 from 2 – 6 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M., concluding with Military Honors. Interment will take place privately for the family in Acacia Park Cemetery.
