Louis M. Yorio, 58, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his residence after heart complications. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Louis Yorio and Mary (Giannini) Yorio.

Lou attended local schools and married his loving wife, Lorelei (Micon) Yorio, on March 10, 1984. He was employed by the city of Niagara Falls for 27 years until his retirement in 2017. At which time he held the position of Crew Leader of the Trades Department. He was also a longtime member of the local Painter's Union in Buffalo, NY.

Lou was an avid outdoorsman and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends at his cabin in Franklinville.  He also enjoyed exercising, playing racquetball and card games.

In addition to his wife of 33 years, he is survived by his cherished daughters, Tanya and Amanda Yorio; beloved grandson, Vincent Yorio; siblings, Michael (Betty) Yorio, Donna (John) Maluchnik, and Carol Ann (Jeff) Reeley; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 1 ^st from 5 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will follow at 8 P.M.
