Obituary
Louise (Soprano) Grenga, 79 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2009 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Paul and Cecelia (Fratello) Soprano.
Louise was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On October 22, 1955, she married Pascal 'Pat' S. Grenga in Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Niagara Falls. Louise was employed at the former Kimberly Clark Co. in Niagara Falls, and later used her cooking talents to work for the Niagara County Nutrition Center. Louise was a longtime and active member of St. Raphael Parish, formerly St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Church in Niagara Falls. In her leisure time she enjoyed doing crafts and playing bingo. Louise also enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida with her husband Pat, and was active in their residence community center. Most of all, Louise took great pleasure in caring for her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of fifty four years, Mrs. Grenga is survived by her four children, Cecelia (Stephen) Anderson of Dallas, TX, Leon (Bibiano) Grenga of Phoenix, AZ, Patricia Grenga of Niagara Falls, NY, Joseph (Rebecca) Grenga of Wilson, NY, four grandchildren, Brooke (John) DiSarro, Salvatore P. Grenga, Austin Grenga and Sidney Grenga and one great-grandchild, Cayden DiSarro. Louise was the sister of, Pauline (late Joseph) Dimino of Lewiston, NY, late Mary (late Leonard) Deuro and late Carmine (late Joseph) Macri, sister-in-law of, Frank (Joyce) Grenga of Niagara Falls, NY, Maria (Joseph) Rizzo of Lewiston, NY, late Joseph (Faye of Amherst, NY) Grenga and late Paul (Elizabeth of Lewiston, NY) Grenga. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Monday November 30th at 11:30 a.m. with Msgr. Leonard E. Biniszkiewicz officiating.
