Louise M. Oliverio, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 11, 2020 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility.  Born in Beaver County, PA, she was the daughter of the Late Louis and Santina (Wyno) Crapis and the step-daughter of the late Joseph Porto.

Louise came to the area as a teenager with her family.  On May 17, 1947, she married Frank A. Oliverio, Sr. at St. Joseph's Church.  Mr. Oliverio predeceased her on December 29, 2008.   Louise was employed as a Nurse's Aide in the Labor & Delivery Department of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for over 30 years.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, going to the Casino, playing bingo and scratching lottery tickets.  Above all, she loved her family and cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Louise's family would like to thank the staff of Schoellkopf Health Care Facility and Niagara Hospice for the outstanding care that they provided during her time there.

Louise is survived by her children, Frank A. (Dorothy) Oliverio, Sr. and Margaret (Vincent) Martello; her grandchildren, Anthony (Alicia Marcolini) Martello, Christopher (Nicole) Martello, and John Martello; great-grandchildren Sophia Louise and Vincenzo, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 61 years, Louise was predeceased by her sisters, Margaret Crapis, Serena (late Bill) English, Sylvia (late Orlando) Mash, and Carmella Crapis.

Due to recent circumstances, funeral services with interment in St. Stephen's Cemetery will be held privately for the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 6215 Sheridan Drive, Suite #100, Buffalo, NY 14221.  Arrangements by M.J.
