Louise (Marcantonio) Romano, 96 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 23, 2017 at Northgate Health Care Facility.  Born in Limosano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Riccuito) Marcantonio.                               .

Louise immigrated to Niagara Falls with her family at the age of eight and attended local schools.  On June 28, 1960, she married Anthony Romano in Italy.  Mr. Romano predeceased her in September 2003.  In her younger years, Louise worked at her families grocery store, the former Marcantonio's in Niagara Falls.  Louise was a devoted homemaker and especially loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Romano is survived by one daughter, Julia (Etienne) Kojsza of Lockport, and one son Paschal Romano of Rochester, three grandchildren, Carol, Stephen and Michael Kojsza, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was also predeceased by two sisters, Jessie (late Joe) Dimino and Antoinette (late Mario) Signore.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 - 7 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church 2748 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY.  Entombment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094.
