Loura J. (Caraglin) Maines, 63, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on December 18, 2025, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Bisher) Caraglin, Sr.

Loura graduated from Trott Vocational High School. She worked various jobs and was the owner and operator of Down on Main Street in Wilson, NY. Most recently, she was employed in the Lewiston-Porter School cafeteria.

In her younger years, Loura played softball with her sisters. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. She enjoyed music, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Loura will be remembered most for her honesty and for always speaking her mind.

Loura's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Care Center and Mount St. Mary's Hospital ICU for the compassionate care shown to Loura, as well as to her many caring friends for their love and support.

Loura is survived by her husband, Floyd Maines; her siblings, Noreen (Norman) Maillet, Frank (Bambi) Caraglin, John Caraglin, Mark (Tammy) Caraglin, Mary (Pat) Corsaro, Debbie (Vince) Ferlito, and Jean (late Skip) Hachee; her special godson, Robert Hachee; and dear cousin, Tony Caraglin, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Cynthia (Michael) Willimont.

A Celebration of Loura's Life will be held at a future date to be announced.
