Lucille P. Vinette, 97, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed into the Arms of the Lord and her husband, D'Arcy H. "Frenchy" Vinette, on December 21, 2020 at her daughter and son-in-law's residence in Oak Ridge, NC.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Elizabeth (Daly) Fortier.

Lucille attended local schools, graduating from Trott Vocational High School.  During World War II, she worked in assembly at Bell Aerospace.  On January 27, 1951, she married D'Arcy H. "Frenchy" Vinette at St. Teresa's Church.  Mr. Vinette predeceased her on February 27, 2003.  Lucille was employed as a machine operator for over 45 years at Nabisco Shredded Wheat in Niagara Falls, NY.  After her retirement, she enjoyed attending the quarterly Nabisco reunion luncheons at the Como Restaurant.

Lucille loved to travel with her daughter and granddaughter, visiting Hawaii, Venezuela, the Caribbean, Thailand, Brazil, Spain, Morocco, and South Africa.    She also enjoyed shopping, sitting in the sun, and spending time outdoors.  Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lucille is survived by her children, Guy (Lisa) Vinette and Michelle (Robert) Bellreng; her grandchildren, Autumn (Michael) Sander, Guy (Rachelle) Vinette, Gary (Amy) Vinette, Tara (John) Alm, and Danielle Vinette (Jon Allen); her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Taylor, Charlotte, Henry, Lucas, Mila, Addison, Noah, Sienna, and Micah.   She was the sister-in-law of Lorraine (late Michael) Maglio, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband of 52 years, she was predeceased by her son, Gary (Darlene) Vinette, and her siblings, Rick Fortier, Earl Bubar, and Edward (Beth) Bubar.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29th from 11 – 1 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304 where funeral services will begin at 1 PM.  Attendees are encouraged to wear casual attire.  Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.   Flowers are gratefully declined.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/donate/ .  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
