Lucille M. Vitello (Cloutier), passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, at home with her children by her side. Born on September 25, 1929, in Woonsocket, RI to the late Elaine (Dion) and Lionel Cloutier, she spent her youth in Niagara Falls, Ontario and became an accomplished seamstress and hairdresser, having shops in her basements wherever she lived.

Lucille married Joseph Vitello on August 8, 1959.  He predeceased her on April 22, 2000.  Lucille is survived by her son, Joseph (Maria Risio) Vitello and daughter, Michelle (Robert) Allen, granddaughters Nicole (Michael) Farrell and Renee Allen; grandson, Joseph Vitello, Jr. and three great-granddaughters Kaydence and Kassidy Farrell and Kyleigh Allen.  Lucille is also survived by her brother Andrew Cloutier, sister in laws Antoinette (late Michael) Alaimo, Grace (late Al) Schultz and Margaret (late Louis) Godino, numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; especially her niece Carol Czajkowski who helped care for her.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Rudolf (late Corine), Ron (Dee), Roger (Stella), and Claude Cloutier and her sister, Juliette (late Lucien) LaRose.  Lucille loved being with her family and friends, playing cards, doing puzzles, cooking & baking and going to the casino.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3 from 2 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27 ^th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
