Lucy M. (Scricco) Craig, 85, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Francesca (Pitarresi) Scricco.

Lucy was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School in 1945. On November 8, 1947 she married James S. Craig, Sr. at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Craig predeceased her on September 2, 2012. Lucy worked at Sears Roebuck and Co. on Falls Street in Niagara Falls, NY from 1964 until the early 1970's. She later worked at Kmart and Ames Discount Store also in Niagara Falls and Clover Industries in Tonawanda, NY. Lucy returned to working at Sears in Lockport, NY until she retired in 2000. Lucy was an active member of the Pendleton Senior Citizen Group where she enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She also enjoyed shopping and collecting dolls.

Mrs. Craig is survived by two sons, Gary W. (Pamela) Craig of Ransomville, NY and Robert J. (Janice) Craig of Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by one son James S. Craig, Jr. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Carrie Ann Craig, Candice Craig, Jesse (Connie) Craig, Sara Craig and Joseph Craig, one great-granddaughter Ellie Briann Craig, one brother Anthony (late Frances) Scricco of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters Rosalie Vecchies of Arizona and Joanne (Arthur) Schinaman of North Carolina; her sister-in-law Leda Mae Bishop of New Jersey; her dear friends, Sally Cornell and Sandy Hawk as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lucy was the daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Marie Craggs.

There will be no prior visitation.
