Lucy A. (Franjoine) Magliarditi, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Thursday May 13, 2010 at her residence with her loving family under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Tyler, PA she was the daughter of the late Philomena (Sorta) Franjoine.

Lucy attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On May 3, 1940 she married Albert Magliarditi at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Magliarditi predeceased her in 1974. She was employed as a housekeeper at the Niagara County Human Resources Building and retired in 2000 after more than twenty five years of service. Lucy was a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America, Cataract Lodge in Niagara Falls, NY. Lucy's life was centered on her family and she especially enjoyed cooking and family gatherings.

Lucy is survived by four sons Frank (Kathleen) Magliarditi of Lewiston, NY; Pat Magliarditi, Joel Magliarditi and Albert Magliarditi Jr. all of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren Frank Magliarditi, Nicole Magliarditi, Greg Magliarditi and Kris Magliarditi, one great grandson Carmine Magliarditi, two sisters Patricia "Dolly" (Rockie) Leo and Vickie (Charlie) Burgio both of the Town of Niagara and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four sisters Josephine Fioritta, Flora Franjoine, Kathryn Lindsay and Frances Franjoine and three brothers Michael Franjoine, Louie Franjoine and Frank "Chi Chi" Franjoine.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday May 15th at 11:15 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
