M. Blanche Belin, 96, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at Elderwood at Lockport. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Nelson "Lou" Lewis Everson and Leah I. (née Nelson) Jackman, and the stepdaughter of the late Dr. William Jackman.

Blanche was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and later earned her Associate's Degree from Bryant & Stratton College. On February 14, 1950, she married John S. "Jack" Belin, DDS, at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Niagara Falls. Dr. Belin predeceased her in 1977.

For 25 years, Blanche was employed as a Secretary in the Traffic Engineering Department for the City of Niagara Falls, where she was known for her professionalism, dedication, and warm rapport with colleagues. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a longtime and devoted member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO), a past president of the National Secretary Association, and an active participant and past president of the Lewiston Senior Center.

Blanche enjoyed crosswords, reading, and playing cards and games with her family. She also appreciated a nice glass of wine shared in good company. Above all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy throughout her life.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Elderwood at Lockport for the compassionate care shown to Blanche during her time there.

She is survived by her sons, Richard "Rick" (Anne) Belin and John Scott Belin; her grandchildren, Michael (Christine) Belin, Kate (Janet) Belin, Dr. Peter (Dr. Amanda) Belin, Emily (Andrew) Grady, and Adam Belin; as well as eleven great‑grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7 from 2 -5 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Private interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the First Presbyterian Church 311 First Street Niagara Falls, New York 14303.
