M. Sean Mort, 59, of Lewiston, NY, died unexpectedly in the Town of Porter due to a tragic accident while doing the work he loved. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Janice (Gallo) (late David) Reynolds and the late Glenn Mort, Jr.

Sean was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. For over 30 years, he was self‑employed as a Tree Service Operator, proudly operating his company, Integrated Applications. His work was his passion, and he approached every day with dedication, skill, and a deep respect for the outdoors.

Sean loved feeding his chickens, riding four‑wheelers with his beloved sons, and enjoying motorcycles, rock climbing, and skiing with his family. He will be remembered most for his outgoing and sociable nature, his ability to make people laugh, and his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.

In addition to his mother, Sean is survived by his cherished sons, Arden T. Zabawa‑Mort and Emery S. Zabawa‑Mort; his brother, Greg (Dana) Mort; his former spouse and mother of his children, Theresa Zabawa (Rich Bilson); and his dear nephew, Justin (Samantha) McKee. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends who will miss him deeply.
