Mafalda (Risio) Danielewicz, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday July 7, 2013 with her beloved husband and caregiver at her side. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Nancy (Speranzo) Risio.

Muffy as she was affectionately known by her family and friends was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. On January 29, 1968 she married Edward P. Danielewicz in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Muffy began working in the housekeeping department of the former Hotel Niagara. Afterwards she worked at the Parkway Inn as a waitress, and went on to become assistant banquet manager until her retirement. Muffy took great pleasure in being a homemaker and was a wonderful cook. She also enjoyed crocheting and spending the winters in Port Charlotte, FL with her husband Edward.

In addition to her husband of forty five years, Mrs. Danielewicz is survived by one granddaughter, Joelle (Tony) Linhares, two great-granddaughters, Alicia and Cierra, one great-great-granddaughter Kylee, her step-son Jeffrey (Tammy) Danielewicz of Syracuse, NY, two step-grandsons, Jeffrey Danielewicz, Jr. and Jeremy Danielewicz, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her son Joseph Tracy, four sisters, Evelyn (late Francis) Bishop, Mary (late Anthony) Marinelli, Pauline (late John) Rufran, Elvira (late Clarence) DeLong, and two brothers, Joseph Risio who was killed in the Normandy during World War II and John (late Anna) Risio.
