Marcia J. (Converso) Rea, 45, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Sunday, January 16, 2011. Born in Newfane, NY she was the daughter of Nora B. (Kelkenberg) Converso of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Santo J. Converso.

Marcia was a lifelong resident of the Niagara County area and attended local schools. On May 24, 1996 she married Robert J. Rea Sr. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by him on February 15, 2007. She was employed by Tops Supermarkets in the Customer Service Department at their Portage Road, Niagara Falls, NY and Lewiston, NY locations. Marcia was a generous, caring and loving person who watched over everyone including her dear sons Robert and Ryan and her dear nieces Jillian, Katie and Tina Parker and Lindsay Wiler. Her favorite pastimes included playing cards and Bingo.

In addition to her mother, Marcia is survived by two sons Robert J. Rea Jr. and Ryan J. Rea both of Niagara Falls, NY; four brothers and one sister Kevin Converso of the Town of Wheatfield, Angela (Kevin) Wiler, Jerry Converso, Ken (Andrea) Converso and Daniel Herrington all of Niagara Falls, NY; her mother-in-law June Nasca of Niagara Falls, NY and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Wednesday January 19th from 6 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Robert Henry officiating. Flowers are graciously declined.
