Margaret (Puglisi) Bellina, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Wednesday January 11, 2012 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Anita, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Trunzo) Puglisi. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Charles C. Bellina on October 27, 1978.
Marge came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with her family and during World War II she was employed in the Production Department of Bell Aircraft in Wheatfield, NY. She later worked as a waitress at the former Hotel Niagara as well as various other Niagara Falls restaurants. Marge liked cooking baking, shopping and tending to her yard. She was also an avid animal lover but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mrs. Bellina is survived by two sons James C. (Sue) Bellina of Niagara Falls, NY and Daniel J. Bellina of Breckenridge, CO and was Nana to three grandchildren Jennifer Bellina, Jessica (Craig) Nilson and Nicholas Bellina and Nana to three great grandchildren Alyssa, Theresa and Anthony. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marge was predeceased by three sisters Martha McNamara-Laur, Grace Nalbone and Virginia Russella and two brothers Michael Puglisi, Sr. and Anthony (Maria of Lewiston, NY) Puglisi.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Monday January 16th at 11:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
