Margaret Rose Borst, 78, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on June 22, 2024 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Whitemore and Martha Margaret (Legessy) Klinger.

Margaret was employed in Dietary at Fallston General Hospital in Fallston, MD for 5 years until her retirement, and lived out the rest of her life as a homemaker.  She was an avid crafter, and enjoyed quilting, sewing, and all types of needlework.  Her dream before her passing was to visit Niagara Falls with her family.  She was a member of Sovereign Grace Church in Abingdon, MD. Margaret will be remembered most for her loving, giving and caring nature.  Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her children, Audrey (Alan) Coogle, Margaret (late Chris) Harper, Bill (late Estelle) Borst, Mary (Brian) Hastings, Patricia (Eddie) Sheeler, George (Christy) Borst, and Paul Borst; 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, multiple children who adopted her as their grandmother, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by several siblings.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held in Maryland at a future date.
