Margaret (Phipps) Cameron , 79,of Niagara Falls, NY died on Tuesday May 25, 2010 at her residence under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen (Carmody) Phipps.

A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, Margaret was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and Kelley Business Institute, where she received her degree in accounting. She married Charles O. Cameron in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Cameron predeceased her in 1988. Margaret worked locally as a bookkeeper and during her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening and world history.

Margaret is survived by her three children Diane (Nicholas) Kosciowiat of New Jersey; Charlene (Donald) Lanternier of Pendleton, NY and Charles M. Cameron of Niagara Falls, NY, five grand children Nicole Fealy, Christine Kosciowiat, Danielle Lanternier, Kelly Polashenski and Kyle Zawisky, two great-grandchildren Jaclyn Fealy, Alivia Zawisky, one sister Jean Baldwin of Niagara Falls, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Margaret was predeceased by her brothers Robert and John Phipps and a sister Marilyn Baldwin.

Visitation will be on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will immediately follow at 11a.m. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
