Margaret M. (DiGennaro) Dahlgren, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Friday April 22, 2011 in Niagara Rehabilitation Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Born and educated in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Philomena (Cusano) DiGennaro. On December 28, 1937 she married Harold Dahlgren in St. Columba Church in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Dahlgren predeceased her in 1969.

Margaret worked until the age of seventy-five in the production department at Niagara Sample Book Company, a manufacturer of booklets for wallpaper samples, for over twenty years, and retired in 1992. She was a member of "Parents Without Partners", and enjoyed bowling.

Mrs. Dahlgren is survived by two children Dorothy (late Francis) Rogers of Niagara Falls, NY and David (Grace) Dahlgren of Tennessee; five grandchildren Kevin Rogers, Brian Rogers, Mark (Bonnie) Rogers, Samantha Dahlgren, and David (Chi) Dahlgren. She was predeceased by her grandson Sean Rogers. Survivors also include four great-grandchildren, a sister Helen (late John) Burgio of California, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be on Monday from 7 – 8 PM at M.J.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday April 26th at 12 Noon at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Rd.
